Mark Hicks is the Founding Director of MGH Solutions.

Mark is a legal practitioner and nationally accredited mediator.  Mark is also a certified trainer.

Mark was admitted as a legal practitioner in Feb of 2001 having completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws.  Mark completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Western Sydney University in 2000.

Mark has extensive experience in litigation and has acted for both defendants and plaintiffs in relation to:

  • Commercial disputes
  • Building and construction litigation
  • Estates and succession disputes
  • Medical negligence claims
  • Industrial accident and workers compensation matters
  • Workcover prosecutions
  • Institutional and carer abuse claims
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Occupiers and vicarious liability
  • Intentional tort including assault, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and misfeasance in public office
  • Coronial inquests

Mark has worked in both defendant and plaintiff law practices.  Further, Mark has worked in an in-house capacity as Senior Legal Counsel and Manager of the Insurance Law Practice for a large NSW Government Agency.  Most recently Mark was the National Legal Manager for a number of large and diverse Insurers.

Mark completed his Mediation Training and Assessment at the NSW College of Law and is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and member of the Resolution Institute.

Given his diverse background Mark brings a unique perspective to dispute resolution management and can assist parties with the following:
